Chantelle du Toit – Owner and creator of SkidZ
Chantelle’s most important job is that of being a mom to her 3 kids. She studied education at the University of Johannesburg and taught for 6 years before becoming a stay at home mom. She has since furthered her studies in Psychology through UNISA. She has a special interest in child development and barriers to learning. She also enjoys sharing her knowledge through training and seminars. The Skidz concept started as a box of activities to stimulate and help develop her son while staying at home with his nanny and has grown into a weekly curriculum. With lots of people asking for something similar at an affordable price, the idea was born.
Jemma Roets – Speech-language therapist and Audiologist
Jemma Roets qualified as a Speech-language therapist and Audiologist at the University of Pretoria in 2007. She later completed her Masters degree in Early Childhood Intervention, specialising in severe disabilities, in 2013, at the University of Pretoria. She is also a mommy to 2 precious little girls.
Susan Peyper – Paediatric Occupational therapist
Susan qualified as an Occupational Therapist at UCT and has a Masters degree in Early Childhood Intervention. She has a special interest in Sensory Integration. She is in private practise and is based in Bedfordview. She is also mommy to a handsome boy.
Juazel de Villiers – Clinical Psychologist
Juazel de Villiers (Nee Pieterse) qualified as a Clinical Psychologist at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. She is in private practise in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.She aims to enhance learning by making theory more practical and applicable. Her passion is therapy and assessment for children with psychological difficulties and disorders. She is also a mommy of two little princesses named Phoebe and Jocelyn.
Kiara Lubbers – Occupational Therapist
Kiara qualified as an Occupational Therapist at Wits University. She has a passion for children and horses with a special interest in hippotherapy, learning and sensory difficulties. She is in paediatric private practise based in Alberton. She looks forward to commencing her Sensory Integration training in the near future.
