Threading is a lovely way to encourage fine motor skills. I really like this one as it is not too small for little hands still learning to do it, but is also fun for toddlers.
What you need:
- Scissors
- Felt in different colours
- Ribbon
- Button
Cut different shapes from different colours of felt, and make a slit / button hole in the middle of each.
Attach the button to the one end of the ribbon. Also attach a piece of felt to the other end so that the pieces that are threaded on will not fall off the other side.
That’s it! All done! Let your baby have fun practising those fine motor skills.
We realise that not everyone has the time to make these and so have a very limited stock of extras. This threading snake and the shape and colour board together cost R100 (Excluding delivery) Please email [email protected] if you would like to order these 2.
